Laubin Oboes
Be a part of the legacy.
Laubin oboes have been a legend in the American school of oboe. They are meticulously hand crafted—every part of the key mechanism is custom-fit to the body of the instrument, the wood is aged for at least ten years, and the keys are heavily silver-plated and hand-burnished. During manufacture, a partial synthetic liner was inserted in the top joint to prevent cracking and extend the life of the instrument.
We have two beautiful Rosewood Laubin oboes—one from 1987 (serial # 18xx) and one from 2007 (serial #24xx). Both have recently been thoroughly serviced and with no crack history.
