HannahsOboes – Established 1999
This philosophy arose many years ago when I started on a plastic Linton oboe. This oboe lacked many of the standard keys and was in ill repair. Needless to say, my experience was not favorable, and it is amazing that I chose to major in music. It took my mom 5 years to be able to buy me my first Loree back in 1969.
I guarantee my instruments to be in ready-to-play condition and top quality. Instruments are available for a one week trial.
My extensive inventory changes daily.
For my current stock of instruments please email: [email protected] or call me at 602-999-0325.
* The prospective buyer pays for round-trip shipping regardless of purchase.
** Arizona delivered sales are charged 8.30% & Sales to Tennessee may include sales tax, contact for details
I would like to introduce myself, hannah selznick, English horn soloist and oboist with the Musicanova Symphony Orchestra of Arizona. I invite you to listen to me performing with musicanova in this YouTube recording here.
Hannah is also a member of the Chandler Symphony, the past Principal oboist of the Scottsdale Symphony; SSO business manager for 3 years and also the past oboist/English hornist with the Mesa Symphony. I also served as the MSO business manager for two years. I have over fifty years experience as an oboe and English horn player, instructor and free-lance performer. I earned a B.S. Degree in Music Education from the Univ. of Missouri, and my Master’s Degree in Oboe Performance from Tulsa Univ. I enjoyed Post Master’s Oboe Studies with the late Don Hefner, of Catholic University, Washington, D.C.
I am proud to share this YouTube Video of the Chandler Symphony Chamber Concert on March 7, 2015, performing the Vivaldi Concerto for Two Oboes in D Minor. RV 535.
Marc Goldstick is performing on an Howarth XL oboe, and I am performing on a Laubin Cocobolo oboe.
Thank you for your confidence in permitting me to assist you in this very important musical decision.
Cordially, hannah selznick
